Tom Gillard and Rachael Gray were back on winning form in the Ranelagh Trophy, where the top 21 boats get “Champagne” courtesy of Winder Boats.
Dave Winder and Beka Jones took second, with overall leaders Andy Davis and Becky Caiger third.
Although that win closed the gap, Davis and Caiger retain their lead of the Championship, now two points ahead of Gillard and Gray with three races remaining.
In third overall are Ben Whaley and Chris Martin tied on 20 pts with Arran Holman and Tom Pygall, and fifth Jon Gorringe and Toby Lewis with 22 pts.
Major movers of the day with their second place finish were Winder and Jones up into seventh on 36 pts.
It was also the crews race which 16 boats stuck around for.
Chris Martin and Ben Whaley lead all the way for the win, second Ollie Goodhead and Ed Bradburn and third Megan Pascoe and Helen Hilditch.
